Young Business Leaders of Nigeria visit LBS

The Young Business Leaders of Nigeria (YBLN), aimed at tackling the unemployment situation in Nigeria, visited Lagos Business School today.

The team led by the Founder, Temitayo Etomi, and accompanied by members of the YBLN team as well as the Entrepreneurs-in-training were welcomed by the Dean of the School, Dr Enase Okonedo. She lauded the YBLN initiative and expressed her admiration for the courage of the young entrepreneurs, in taking up the task of creating value and jobs for others. She closed her address by urging them to ensure they keep sustainability at the heart of their businesses.

The participants were treated to a session in entrepreneurship by LBS Entrepreneurship Faculty, Dr Henrietta Onwuegbuzie. The visit came to a close with a guided tour around the School’s facility led by Amaka Odunze, Head Corporate Communications.

This visit was part of the 6-week experiential programme focused on developing the skills of young entrepreneurs to observe first-hand some of the principles they have learnt in the classroom.
