Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the difference between a DBA and a PhD Degree?

Both degrees are terminal degrees. None is inferior to the other. What differentiates the DBA from the PhD degree is the nature of the output.  PhD is more theoretical while the DBA is more applied (output). The DBA solves a real-world practical business problem.

No. This will lead to some level of conflict of interest since the same faculty members will be assessing the eligibility of your proposal during the pre-admission screening.

  • Where do I get materials for putting together the DBA research proposal?

Google scholar and other industry sources are good resources to start with.
