????????????????????????????????????

Participants have expressed optimism about the outcome of the Modular Senior Management Programme (MSMP 55) which commenced yesterday at Lagos Business School.

The participants, who had their first few sessions amidst a welcome cocktail and facility tour, admitted that the programme matched their expectations, going by LBS’ reputation as a bastion of management education on the continent.

The SMP is aimed at building the personal skills of participants to enable them achieve an immediate and measurable improvement in their contribution to their organisations. As such, participants receive basic grounding in the main management disciplines to build their skills. The modular version of the programme spans 6 months and is meant for busy executives whose work schedules necessitate some flexibility.

“I’ve always known LBS as a School that’s striving to be world-class,” said David Nzekwu, Regional Head of Sales, Fidelity Bank Plc. “My expectation was to meet new people from various organisations and facilitators that would convey the message in a manner that is easy to take in. To the best of my knowledge, that expectation has been met.”

Olaoye Bolaji of ICT outfit, New Horizons, joined the MSMP to sharpen his decision-making skills and bring same to bear on the success of his organisation. “I’ve always believed the LBS training is high-end and will surely be worth it. I believe my experience so far is just a tip of the iceberg,” he said.
