The just-concluded ‘Managing People for Strategic Advantage’ (MPSA) Programme has received accolades from participants.
Fifty-three senior executives drawn from the public and private sectors recounted the benefits of the programme during a recent farewell cocktail at Lagos Business School.
Henry Toby, Head, Risk and Governance, Nigeria LNG Limited, noted that his expectations regarding how to manage staff for strategic advantage were met and even surpassed. He said, “Every year, I’m at LBS for one programme or the other and I’m glad to have been part of this programme. We’ve always had a good impression about LBS at NLNG.”
Nkiruka Agubuzor of Finance Applications Systems Limited joined the programme to identify her management skills. She said with the experience gleaned, she would gladly participate in other programmes at LBS.
“The programme has helped me identify myself and management areas I can improve on. Indeed, LBS is an outstanding business school I can always count on for qualitative programmes of this nature,” she said.
Designed to build line managers’ human resource capabilities, the three-day programme featured modules such as Fundamentals of People Management, Talent Management Strategies for High Performance, as well as Leadership and Strategic Impact.
