The Ondo state Governor, Dr Olusegun Mimiko and Co-founder IHS Towers, Mohamad Darwish have been announced the Keynote Speakers at the 2016 edition of the Africa Business Conference (ABC), being organised by students of Lagos Business School.
The Conference which comes with the theme “Africa Rising: Leveraging the Power of a Younger Generation” has witnessed several notable keynote speakers including, respected business mogul, Aliko Dangote, CEO, Dangote Group of Companies; Tony Elumelu, Chairman of Heirs Holdings and Founder, Tony Elumelu Foundation among others.
Explaining the theme of the 2016 edition of the annual conference, the organisers highlighted that at the heart of emerging trends in Africa is the rapid increase in the population of younger generation, thus, stressing that the conference will be focusing on identifying opportunities that exist in Africa, by gaining a thorough understanding of how the changing demography impacts consumer segments across various sectors of the continents.
Expected participants at the conference include business leaders, financiers and policy makers across Africa and the world as well as investors seeking to do business in Africa with the aim of generating insights and gaining mind share on trends in Africa that would affect doing business in Africa and propel the continent to the forefront of advanced economies in the world.
The Conference is billed to hold in Lagos on March 3, 2016.
