Mid-level and senior managers from Nigeria and beyond recently leveraged Lagos Business School’s Digital Seminar to hone their marketing skills.
Tagged ‘Digital Marketing Strategies: Winning in the Digital Age’, the three-day seminar exceeded participants’ expectations. They assured they would return to their organisations to implement the strategies they learnt and also encourage their colleagues to participate in the next run of the programme.
Dele Alimi (AMP 24), Director, Trade Promotion, Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, joined the programme to not only make his organisation digitally-compliant, but also accessible. “The course has opened my mind to possibilities I never thought existed. Putting LCCI in the face of the public is one of our key objectives, and I felt one of the best places to acquire that sort of knowledge is LBS,” he said.
In the course of the programme, participants assessed their respective organisations’ digital marketing strategies and best practices. They were exposed to competitor strengths and weaknesses, identified shifts in technology and areas of improvement, among others.
“I thought it would be a very boring lecture,” admitted Ghanaian Roseline Dupulu-Kessa of Ebony Oil and Gas. “But the programme was well planned, and the facilitators very time-conscious. I’m now very well informed digitally and know a few tools with which to put my company out there.”
