Lagos Business School has been praised for the quality of its programmes, and will join other internationally acclaimed business schools to participate in this year’s MBA Tour.

Founded in 1993, the MBA Tour is an independent information source on MBA admissions which provides opportunities for face-to-face interaction between top business schools and potential students across the world. The group’s events are limited to a carefully selected group of business schools that are reviewed and approved by an advisory board of peers.

Hannah B. Acquah, West African representative of the MBA Tour, said in a recent interview with BusinessDay that LBS is a choice selection based on the professionalism and affordability of its world-class but locally relevant programmes.

“We really appreciate LBS and can see through their eyes that you can have affordable, professional university locally. We hope to get more current universities in Nigeria holding true the merits of education just as LBS has shown and proven over the years,” she said.

The expertise of LBS, she disclosed, will always be tapped on for MBA tours not only in Nigeria, but also South Africa and Kenya. “We want to continue to ask them for future engagement,” added Acquah.

This year’s Tour, scheduled to hold at Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos on January 24, 2015 will feature panel discussions, presentations and breakout sessions. Participating schools will include Hult International Business School, USA; IE Business School, Spain; IESE Business School, Spain and Manchester Business School, UK.
