LBS Offers 50% Grant to Boost Agribusiness

Lagos Business School (LBS) recognises that the agricultural sector holds tremendous opportunities for wealth creation in Nigeria. In the face of the global oil glut, there is a dire need for investment in this sector in order to boost the Nigerian economy.

In response to this national call for diversification, LBS is offering a 50% grant on its Agribusiness Management Programme (AgMP). This limited offer will not only give successful candidates an opportunity to learn and apply practical skills to their businesses, but also, the opportunity to collaborate with agribusiness industry practitioners and experts.

The programme aims to expose company executives, managers and potential professionals in the agribusiness value chain to current global, regional, domestic trends and market realities in the agricultural sector.  It will be an innovative and stimulating learning experience that integrates the best of classroom knowledge and theory with action learning.

Commenting on this initiative, LBS Faculty and Agribusiness Management Programme Academic Director, Ikechukwu Kelikume said, “Participants will gain an insight into new opportunities in the Agribusiness value chain as well as tackle challenges that have made Agribusiness unprofitable in the past.”
