Lagos Business School recently hosted a strategy execution programme for Zenith Insurance executives.
Academic Director of Programme, Professor Chris Ogbechjie, Faculty, Strategy, noted that the programme was facilitated in order to provide solutions and tools to bridge the difficult gap between rational development of strategy and real-life execution and to help the executives identify hidden traps, balance rational with the emotional and build internal capability to continue implementing strategy successfully in their organisation.
The participants on the programme were extremely pleased with the knowledge gleaned and acknowledged that the programme has gone a long way in sharpening their strategy execution skills.
“The programme has helped me a lot because I now know how to measure my own contribution to the overall objectives of the company. It has also taught me how to best position my company in line with our strategy document” Yeside Kazeem.
“The programme has positively impacted my understanding of what strategy execution entails and the major pitfalls to avoid” Bisoye Alli.
