In order to celebrate International Women’s Day, Lagos Business School (LBS) hosted the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC), on March 8, 2017.
The event themed “Be Bold For Change” was dedicated to acknowledge the social, economic and cultural achievements of women.
In his welcome address, Wale Anifowose, General Manager, EDC, praised the women in business for their strength and courage. “I am a man amongst many women, this has made me understand and respect women more, it has enabled me know that women are very strong. I strongly believe in the growth of women businesses. In line with the worldwide theme be bold for change, the women I have encountered are very bold and are ready for change” he said.
In his keynote address, Bayo Rotimi, Advisory Board, EDC, gave the women present, valuable advice on how to develop their businesses into levels of self-sufficiency.
The programme came to an end with a networking session.
