LBS appoints new Advancement Director

Olamide Ibitoye was recently appointed the Director of Advancement, Lagos Business School.

Ibitoye, a chartered accountant with two MBA qualifications, has had a fulfilling career across spheres. She believes her appointment with LBS is an opportunity to serve.

“For an institution of LBS’ stature, the time for an Advancement Office has come,” said Charles Ivenso, Director, Finance and Administration. “The decision to create this function and the appointment of Ibitoye as director is a most auspicious one.”

Advancement is a strategic method of managing relationships to increase understanding and support among an educational institution’s key constituents, including alumni and friends, government policymakers, the media, the community and philanthropic entities of all types.  Its main focus is to secure support from stakeholders committed to the mission of the institution.

Prior to her stint with LBS, Ibitoye – a mother of three – had worked in Oil and Gas, Financial Consulting, Diplomacy and Banking, among others.
