He was senior executive of a team (Industry 4) drawn from the Senior Management Programme (SMP 53) of 
LBS who participated in the global virtual contest hosted by Business Strategy Game International (BSG).
BSI is a two-week strategy simulation exercise whereby top-performing teams of students across the world manage companies competing for global market leadership, superior financial performance and sustainable competitive advantage. A total of 823 teams in 11 industries competed for the Award, but Loko’s team emerged overall winner. This reflects the quality of instruction they receive from LBS, which has produced four winning teams in the last two years.
“Thank you, SMP53 Class and LBS for equipping me for this achievement,” said an elated Loko.
The team’s strategy was measured by Overall Score (current year), Earnings Per Share, Return On Average Equity and Stock Price.
LBS and the University of Stellenbosch are currently the only tertiary institutions adopting BSG in Africa.
