LBS alumnus, Chris Ezeafulukwe is now the MD/CEO of Transcorp Power

An alumnus of Lagos Business School’s Advanced Management Programme (AMP 32), Christopher Ezeafulukwe has been appointed as the Managing Director and CEO of Transcorp Power, a company that manages leading conglomerate, Transcorp Plc’s strategic interests in the power sector.

The appointment was announced alongside other significant appointments to Transcorp’s Board and Executive management in February 2020.

Ezeafulukwe previously held the position of Executive Director, Business Development and Legal at the group for nearly two years and was also a Non-Executive Director at Transcorp Power. 

With over 21 years of experience in Business Development and Legal Advisory roles, Ezeafulukwe holds a LL.B from the University of Lagos, a B.L from the Nigerian Law School, an LL.M from the University of Lagos and another LL.M in Energy, Environmental & Natural Resources Law from the University of Houston, Texas. Apart from his LBS AMP, he also participated in other programmes at the IESE Business School, Spain. 

Ezeafulukwe is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators of Nigeria, the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators and was a member of the Executive Council of Association of Power Generation Companies of Nigeria.

The Advanced Management Programme (AMP) was launched in 1993 and targets executive directors and members of executive management teams of large organisations.
