Babatunde Okeniyi, an alumnus of the Advanced Management Programme (AMP 24) of Lagos Business School has been appointed as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of fintech company, PayAttitude Global.
PayAttitude is a Payment Scheme with innovative technologies for payments and financial transactions with a focus on mobile and digital payments. PayAttitude is owned by a consortium of leading Nigerian banks.
According to Chairman of the company’s Board, Francis Shobo, Okeniyi will “provide valuable insight to the Board and Management of PayAttitude from his wealth of experience”.
Before joining PayAttitude, Okeniyi had a 10-year stint with Unified Payment Services where he served in the capacities of Executive Director, Marketing and Sales and Director, IT and Operations.
He has also functioned as Group Chief Information Officer and Group Head, Operations at UBA and Ecobank respectively.
Okeniyi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Obafemi Awolowo University and an MBA from the University of Lagos. He is a fellow of the International Academy of Cards and Payments and the Institute of Credit Administration, among others.
