LBS Alumni Networking Portal Awarded the Best Performing Professional School Portal

Graduway recently awarded the “Best Performing Professional School Portal” to Lagos Business School Alumni Networking Portal, Alumni Connect.

The award was given in recognition of the engagement of Lagos Business School Alumni through the Alumni Connect Network.  Since the network’s launch in January 2016, One Thousand Eight Hundred and Sixty Four (1,864) members have signed up and members have been able to make Two Thousand and Sixty-Four (2,064) unique networking relations.

The portal, which also serves as a repository for information on alumni activities, has been very beneficial to alumni members. Through the portal members of alumni have been able to engage in various activities including reconnecting with each other regardless of location, give back to the School and each other in various ways, expanding their networks into other classes/programmes and within the alumni body;  access to recruiting qualified talents for their organizations among others.

Bunmi Afolabi, Director, Alumni Relations in her acceptance speech thanked members of the community for their engagement in the alumni activities of the School and acknowledged that this was a huge feat for the Alumni  Relations Team as  Graduway has over  500 top educational intuitions worldwide that engage with its network. “This is significant because there are several business schools in the world also using the Graduway platform. Our winning this award says a lot about the level of our Alumni engagement. We would like to use this opportunity to thank all members of the LBS community who contribute in various ways to our Alumni engagement activities” she said.
