Sound knowledge gleaned from Lagos Business School has elevated three of its alumni to Executive Directorship with Skye Bank plc.
Effective June 2015, the Bank’s Board appointed Mrs Abimbola Izu (SMP 28), Mrs Markie Idowu (EMBA 8) and Mr Yakubu Sanni (AMP 22) as Executive Directors, Corporate Services; Technology and Service Delivery Channels, and Abuja and Northern Region respectively in a bid to uphold professional standards and achieve service excellence.
Izu, who holds an LL.B and LL.M degree from the University of Ife and University of Warwick, Coventry, England was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 1987. She has won several awards as an intellectual prodigy, and is versed in private legal and banking practices.
She currently oversees the Corporate Services Directorate which includes Company Secretariat, Legal services, General Services Department, Corporate Communications, and Sustainability and Consumer Protection Department.
Idowu holds a First Class degree in Computer Sciences from the University of Benin, and a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from Aston University, Birmingham, besides an Executive MBA from the LBS.
Sanni, class president, AMP 22, was until his recent appointment the Regional Director, Abuja and Northern Business, Fidelity Bank plc. He has over 25 years’ experience in the industry.
