LBS Alumna Wins AABLA Business Woman of the Year – West Africa

Lagos Business School is pleased to announce that Toyin Sanni, Chief Executive Programme (CEP 26), received the Business Woman of the Year award for West Africa, at the 7th edition of CNBC’s All African Business Leaders Awards (AABLA) on Thursday, November 10, 2017.

Toyin Sanni is a Lawyer, Chartered Secretary and Stockbroker with over twenty-five years experience in Investor Services, Law and Finance. She holds a Masters Degree, LLM (Hons), from the University of Lagos as well as the Professional qualifications from I.C.S.A. UK, and the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (C.I.S.) Nigeria. She is a Council Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators Nigeria, a Fellow and Vice President of the Association of Pension Funds of Nigeria (APFN), an Associate of the Institute of Directors Nigeria and President of the Association of Corporate Trustees Nigeria. She has served on various committees and boards including the National Bond Steering Committee, the West African Capital Markets Integration Technical Committee and as Chairperson of the Custody Sub-Committee of the Capital Market.​

The All Africa Business Leaders Awards (AABLA) is a prestigious business award on the African continent; given to honour the very best of African businessmen and women business whose expertise has had a significant impact on their industry and community. Since its inception in 2010, the annual awards ceremony and gala dinner is aired in a half-hour show broadcast across 48 countries in Africa.

Toyin Sanni is a focused and highly determined business leader and a source of inspiration to young businesswomen.
