Lagos Business School (LBS) alumnus, Folorunso Aliu of Executive MBA 11 has been appointed Group Managing Director of telecommunication company, Telnet Nigeria.
According to a statement by the company, Aliu’s appointment became effective on May 9, 2019, when he was handed the responsibility for the strategic direction of the company.
Aliu joined Telnet Group in 2000 and as functioned in various capacities including Head of Network Support department, the National Coordinator of Network Support unit, the managing director of iTECO (Nigeria) Limited- a subsidiary of the Telnet Group and the Group Project Director.
Aliu holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC).
Aliu is one of LBS MBA alumni who have risen to senior executive positions in their organisations and are revolutionising the practice of management as we know it in Nigeria and Africa.
