Lagos Business School alumna, Owen Omogiafo appointed President and Group CEO at Transcorp

An alumna of Lagos Business School, Owen Omogiafo has been appointed President and Group CEO of Transnational Corporation of Nigeria, a diversified conglomerate with strategic investments and core interests in the hospitality, agribusiness and energy sectors.

An alumna of the Advanced Management Programme (AMP 32), Omogiafo will be succeeding Valentine Ozigbo, another alumnus of LBS, effective from March 25, 2020.

Prior to the appointment, Omogiafo functioned as the Executive Director of Transcorp for two years and was the Chief Operating Officer of the Tony Elumelu Foundation before then. She also worked as HR Advisor to the GMD/CEO at the United Bank for Africa (UBA) and as an Organisation and Human Performance Consultant at Accenture.

In addition to the AMP, Omogiafo holds a Bachelors degree in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Benin and a Masters in Human Resource Management from the London School of Economics. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, UK and a Certified Change Manager with the Prosci Institute, USA.

The Advanced Management Programme (AMP) was launched in 1993 and targets executive directors and members of executive management teams of large organisations.
