A delegation from the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS), Cape Town visited Lagos Business School recently as part of their nine-day Business of Africa Programme.
The programme saw the 21-man team having classroom sessions and company tours in Cape Town and Kenya, before making a stop at LBS for a session on the Economics of Retail Business in Nigeria with LBS faculty, Dr Doyin Salami. They thereafter got a guided tour of LBS facilities and lively networking/photo opportunities.
Lyal White, Faculty Director, GIBS, said he was extremely impressed with the LBS environment and teaching facilities.
“Your facilities meet world-class standards and there are lots of business networking opportunities which your Dean, Dr Enase Okonedo, helps drive,” he explained.
Also on the team, Standard Bank Director, Prishy Padayachee, noted that LBS was a globally recognised brand with world-class members of faculty and administrative staff.
As part of the Nigerian phase of the GIBS programme, the delegation also visited Dangote Cement Plant, Ibeshe.
