Funke is a U.K. qualified chartered accountant with over 30 years professional and academic experience. She later obtained an MSc in Professional Accountancy from The University of London and an MBA from IESE Business School, Spain. From a corporate function as Financial Controller at IBTC (now StanbicIBTC), Funke moved to the Pan-Atlantic University, Nigeria, where she as a full-time faculty member in the Finance Department, she taught on the MBA and executive programs at the Lagos Business School (LBS). She served as a member of the founding Advisory Board of the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) of the Pan- Atlantic University and also developed the Accounting and Finance module of the Certificate in Entrepreneurial Management (CEM). Over the years Funke has provided financial advisory and consulting services across several industry sectors. Her work experience spans Audit & Accounting, Banking & Financial services, Business development, I.T., Manufacturing and Education.
