LBS Sustainability Centre
The sustainability centre of Lagos Business School is the first of its kind in Nigeria. The centre brings together theory and practice on sustainability, builds leadership skills and supports constructive dialogue and collaboration between business, government, civil society, and academics to find solutions to critical sustainability challenges. We are committed to equipping decision-makers and managers with the relevant skills to design and implement responsible and sustainable business strategies for impact in Nigeria and Africa.
We achieve this through:
- Knowledge Creation: Research that is academically rigorous and policy-relevant
- Knowledge Dissemination: Courses on sustainability, leadership and management development in Executive Education, MBA, open courses, workshops and customized programmes; and
- Dialogue and Collaborative Action Platforms enabling constructive dialogue and collaboration between business, government, civil society, and academics to find solutions to critical sustainability challenges.
Our work is focused on four thematic areas: (1) Sustainable Development & Corporate Sustainability, (2) Responsible Business & Leadership (3) Nonprofit Management & Social Entrepreneurship, and (4) Circular Economy. Through our courses, conferences, industry projects and research, the LBS Sustainability Centre reaches thousands of individuals and organisations in Africa and beyond. This is achieved through the Centre’s targeted knowledge-sharing initiatives and strategic partner engagement. Working with our committed team members and fellows, LBS’ faculty, expert facilitators and key partners, we design and deliver projects and programmes to advance sustainability and responsible management in Africa.
