AMI to Launch Online Management Course in July

African Management Initiative (AMI) will launch its new online management course titled ‘Managing Markets and Customers’ on July 7, 2014.

The free course, organised in partnership with Strathmore Business School, Kenya will help participants develop a winning brand strategy, sharpen their marketing skills and fast-track their management careers.

This is the first course on AMI’s new web and mobile platform, and the first of its kind in Africa.

Typically, AMI’s courses are extremely practical and participants are urged to apply whatever they learn to their jobs or businesses.

In the run-up to the launch of the course, online registrants will receive weekly questions to reflect on. The questions are designed to get them thinking about their customers and markets, so they will get the most out of the course when it starts.

“AMI is launching our web and mobile learning platform designed for African managers and entrepreneurs in a few weeks,” said Rebecca Harrison, AMI CEO. “The first of our practical online management courses, developed with SBS, goes live on July 7.”

Prospective participants can register on www.africanmanagers.co/1

AMI is a social enterprise that empowers African managers and entrepreneurs through practical and accessible learning and development tools. It was founded in 2012 by the Association of African Business Schools, the Global Business Network, the Lundin Foundation and the Tony Elumelu Foundation.

‘Managing Markets and Customers’ is the first course on its new learning platform – developed for Africans by Africans. Lagos Business School is a content partner to AMI.
