Two hundred health workers across Nigeria have been equipped to tackle infectious diseases more effectively at a workshop jointly organised by Lagos Business School, Yale University and the Lagos State Government.

The ‘Training the Trainers’ workshop, held in two batches at the LBS campus in Lagos recently, was aimed at developing an infectious disease response team that will efficiently curtail the spread of diseases such as the Ebola virus going forward.
A high-powered team comprising medical experts from Yale, the Lagos State Health Service Commission and Africare Nigeria were on hand to sensitise participants on the basics of personal hygiene.
