About 128 erstwhile students of Lagos Business School bagged varying postgraduate degrees at the Pan-Atlantic University’s 12th convocation ceremony, held at the School’s Honeywell Auditorium recently.

Fourty four of the graduands were drawn from the School’s full-time MBA programme (MBA 12), 60 from its Executive MBA (EMBA 18), 22 from the Modular MBA (MEMBA 1), one bagged a master’s in Philosophy, while one was awarded a PhD at the ceremony which attracted high-profile academics and captains of industry across sectors.

Business Day Publisher, Frank Aigbogun, delivered words of wisdom in his keynote speech, urging the graduating students to apply all they have learnt in their respective careers. “Hope and sacrifice are the pillars to achieving a sustainable and profitable business” he said.

The Dean, LBS, Dr Enase Okonedo, was on hand to confer degrees on some of the graduands. Subsequently, each class, including graduands from the School of Media and Communications, Pan-Atlantic University, took turns sharing their experiences as students while making donations/pledges to move the University forward. They were also inducted into the School’s prestigious Alumni Association, and are henceforth entitled to all the privileges attached to membership.
