AMP 26 Upgrades School with Fully Functional ICT Laboratory

Members of the Lagos Business School AMP 26 class extended their service to the community as they recently presented a fully functional ICT laboratory- 43 new computers and a projector – to the Lekki Community Senior High School in Ibeju-Lekki.

The project was executed in partnership with the Universal Service Provision Fund of the Federal Government. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the laboratory,   Mr.Dimeji Olona, Chairman, CSR Committee of the AMP 26 class said they partnered with the Federal Government to provide ICT tools and services to pupils in rural communities in the country. “The School Knowledge Centre is an initiative of the Federal Government and we appealed to the present government to come to our aid and cite the project in our adopted school. We also supported the teachers with awards and presented the awardees with laptops and sponsored them on ICT training. We are grateful to the government for coming to our aid because the school serves several communities in the area” he said.

This was another opportunity for the AMP 26 class to have significant impact on rural communities as they recently visited Iseyin, Oyo State, to provide free health screening for members of the community.
