  • What is a good GMAT score?

    The GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) is a standardized exam used by business schools to assess how well students are likely to do in an MBA programme. The GMAT measures basic verbal, quantitative, and analytical writing skills.   • Can I apply for the Executive MBA with only a professional qualification?

    No, you need to get a Post-Graduate Diploma to enable you apply.

  • I am a graduate of a non-business degree, can I apply for the Executive MBA programme?

    Yes if you meet the other requirements.

  • I have just about 6 years work experience; can I apply for the Executive MBA programme?

    No, the minimum requirement is 7 years of relevant work experience by the time the programme starts. The quality of your work experience will also be assessed at an interview before an offer is made. The average years of work experience in our EMBA classes has ranged from 9-11.

  • Is it necessary to get my employer's consent to do the Executive MBA?

    Yes, we require your employer to make an explicit statement of support on the last page of the application form, because they would have to give you some time off work on Fridays to allow you participate in classes.

  • I have not got my transcript from my school, can I submit my application form without it?

    Yes, transcripts are usually sent directly to us from the schools, so you are advised to make a request for your transcript from your previous school, using the Transcript Request Form, after which you should not delay in sending in your application

  • I have a professional qualification and a Masters degree; can I apply for the Executive MBA?

  • How do I apply to the Full-Time MBA Programme?

  • What is the timeline for applying?

    There are three rounds of application. Each round typically takes about 4 months. View application deadlines

  • What is the application fee?

    The application fee for the full-time MBA is NGN5,000.

  • What is included in the program fee?

    The fee covers tuition, academic materials use in the classroom, access to the library, and all programmes organized for students within the duration of the program. For full details, kindly click here

  • What is the duration/How long is the program?

    Eighteen (18) months

  • Do you offer a one-year programme?

    No. LBS does not offer a one year programme

    Yes. Domestic and international students alike are welcome to apply.

  • Which standardized tests does the programme accept?

    The programme accepts either the GMAT or the GRE as part of the application process. We do not have a preference for either test.

  • How do I know if my application is complete?

    Your status can be checked via the online application system. We will notify you via email if anything is missing from your application. This includes, but may not be limited to, exam scores (GMAT or GRE), letters of recommendation, transcripts, and the application fee. Should your application be incomplete, then materials will be marked as missing on your checklist. Any applications that are incomplete as of the application deadline will shift to the next round of admission.

  • How do I check the status of my application?

    You can check the status of your application on our online application system. Log in with the same username and password that you used to submit your application.

  • How will my application be evaluated?

    Each application received is reviewed in depth by the Admissions Committee. When selecting students we put an emphasis on intellectual capacity, professionalism, maturity and effective decision-making and problem-solving potential.
