Dr. Rose Ogbechie is a Senior Lecturer at Lagos Business School, specializing in Business Ethics, Sustainability, and Leadership. With a PhD in Management and an MBA from IESE, she blends academic rigor with 15 years of banking experience at UBA Plc and leadership roles as Managing Director of JMJ Consulting. Her expertise helps executives navigate ethical dilemmas and integrate responsible leadership into business strategy. An active consultant and researcher, she focuses on corporate governance and mentoring senior female executives to increase their professional influence. She champions human-centered leadership as a vital driver of sustainable growth and competitive advantage.
Franklin N Ngwu is the Director of Lagos Business School (LBS) Sustainability Centre and an Associate Professor of Strategy, Corporate Governance, and Risk Management. He has a PhD in Law and Economics of Banking Regulation, an MSc in Economics, and a Post-graduate Diploma in Development Economics from the University of Manchester, UK. He has consulted for both local and international organizations and worked at Barclays Bank UK for over five years. In Nigeria, he has provided either training or consulting services to many firms, including Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), African Development Bank(AfDB), StanbicIBTC, First Bank of Nigeria(FBN), Banwo and Ighodalo, WAPIC Insurance, Nigeria Stock Exchange (NSE), Asset and Resource Management Holding Company (ARM), Nigerian Breweries Plc, AXA Mansard, Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria Plc, Airtel Nigeria, and many other organisations.
Dr Oparison is a senior fellow at Lagos Business School with over 25 years’ management and leadership experience in blue-chip multinational companies. He was a management consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he worked on a wide range of assignments, including Organizational development and change management interventions, executive resourcing, performance, and talent management in private-sector organizations ranging from FMCG companies, financial service organizations, banks, pharmaceutical companies, as well as public-sector client organizations. For over seven years, Oparison was HR Vice President for Shell’s Downstream Business in Africa, a member of the Executive Management Team for Shell Oil Products Africa, and the Shell Downstream Global HR Leadership team based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Dr Uche Attoh
Uche Attoh served on the Industrial Arbitration Panel before joining the faculty. Appointed by the Federal Government, he presided over Tribunals handling trade disputes and labour-management conflicts under the Trade Disputes Act and other labour laws for eight years. Prior to this, he spent more than a decade at GlaxoSmithKline Nigeria Plc, where he acted as Human Resources Director and Company Secretary for West and Central Africa. He played major roles in the company’s transformation efforts, leading the Legal and HR integration during the mergers of SmithKline Beecham with Sterling Health and later with GlaxoWellcome. Before GSK, Uche was Director of Industrial Relations at the Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA). His international HR exposure came through ILO secondments and fellowships in the USA, UK, Ireland, Germany, Brazil, Norway, Kenya, and Ghana, enabling him to promote best practices through various national tripartite institutions.
Yetunde Anibaba (Ph.D.) is a management educator and organisational development professional at Lagos Business School, where she teaches Analysis of Business Problems and decision-making across MBA and executive programmes. She has designed and delivered several top-rated seminars, including Problem Solving and Decision Making for Executives and Driving Digital Revolution. Before joining LBS, she held various roles in the IT sector, gaining experience in ICT and HR management. Yetunde holds a BSc and an MSc degree in Sociology, an MILD, and a Ph.D. in Management. An alumna of UNILAG, LBS, IESE, and Wharton, she advises organisations and reviews for major management conferences.
Prof. Tayo Otubanjo, leads full-time and executive MBA sessions in Marketing at Lagos Business School. He was until recently a Visiting Professor of Marketing at Yale School of Management, New Haven. Prof. Otubanjo pursued his PhD in Marketing with a focus on corporate ‘brand’ identity management at The University of Hull (UK) and Brunel University London where he was highly instrumental in the development of the first MSc degree programme in Corporate Brand Management in the UK. Prof. Otubanjo offers Strategic Marketing and Brand Management advisory services to numerous firms. Past and current clients include Galaxy Backbone, First Bank Plc, FCMB Plc, Keystone Bank Plc, AXA Mansard, Alpha Morgan Capital, Sujimoto Construction, Chams Plc, Cellulant, Top Crust, Superflux, MBC Financial Services Group, Oral B, Consolidated Discount House among others.
Dr. Tunde Ekpe is a lecturer at Lagos Business School, an accredited Executive Coach, and Director of Optimentus Ltd. With over 30 years of global experience, she has consulted for multinationals and the United Nations, specializing in leadership assessment, organizational transformation, and coaching women for board positions. Her expertise spans psychometric profiling, strategic HRM, and team building. A Chartered Psychologist and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, she holds a Doctorate in Organizational Psychology from Aston University and a Financial Times Non-Executive Director diploma. This rare combination of psychological depth and financial acumen enables her to drive high-level executive development and organizational learning.
