Capstone Project

Dr Oparison is a senior fellow at Lagos Business School with over 25 years of leadership experience in multinational companies. He holds a master’s degree and a doctorate in Business Policy and Organisational Development from the University of Wales, Cardiff. He began his career as a management consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers, working on organizational development, change management, executive resourcing, performance, and talent management across private- and public-sector clients. Oparison served over seven years as HR Vice President for Shell’s Downstream Business in Africa, joining the Global HR Leadership team in Johannesburg. He has also held senior HR roles at Sterling Winthrop and British American Tobacco across multiple countries.

Uche Attoh is a lawyer and HR expert with extensive experience in industrial relations, labour law, and organisational transformation. He served eight years on the Industrial Arbitration Panel, adjudicating trade disputes and labour-management conflicts under Nigerian law. Previously, he spent over a decade at GlaxoSmithKline Nigeria Plc as Human Resources Director and Company Secretary for West and Central Africa, leading major mergers and change programmes. Earlier, as Director of Industrial Relations at NECA, he gained international HR experience through ILO fellowships in multiple countries, promoting best practices in the private sector. He holds a Master’s in Administration and is an alumnus of the International Institute for Labour Studies, Geneva.
