Olu Akanmu was, until recently, President and Co-CEO of OPay Nigeria, one of the country’s largest fintech platforms with a unicorn valuation. He has broad C-suite leadership experience across healthcare, FMCG, telecoms, banking, fintech, and the non-profit sector, with a strong record of scaling businesses. His past roles include Executive Director of Retail Banking at FCMB, Chief Marketing Officer at Airtel Nigeria, Retail Banking Executive at Bank PHB, General Manager of Consumer Marketing at MTN, and Client Service Director at Insight Communications. He also served as COO at SFH/PSI. Olu holds a Pharmacy degree, an MBA, and advanced management and research qualifications.
