Over the course of his career, Michael has held several leadership positions in global organizations and served as CHRO and Global HR Director in private sector (Ernst & Young now EY) and public sector (United Nations Development Development Programme) in Stuttgart, London and New York City.
Leveraging his experience gained during these years
Michael worked as a Strategy Consultant and Partner with Accenture and Deloitte. He advised international
organisations on Human Resources, Talent Management
and Organizational Change.
Michael has joined Lagos Business School as International Adjunct Faculty; he has served six years at the University of St. Gallen (HSG MBA) as visiting lecturer for Organizational Behaviour. He is a known expert on the Future of Work and researches its impact on Africa. In this capacity he also acts as a special advisor to management teams.
Currently Michael serves as a Managing Director of a foundation focused on fostering education in Africa; he travels Africa extensively, works with local partners and governments and visits projects locations, especially construction sites for secondary schools.
