Every year, one aspiring business leader will have the opportunity to pursue an MSc in Management (MiM) at Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University (LBS), without the burden of tuition costs.

Thanks to a new scholarship established by Mr Gbenga Adigun, CEO of Rebar Perfecta Limited and Scrella, and an LBS alumnus (OMP 37), one student annually will receive full tuition support to undertake the MiM programme, beginning with the January 2027 cohort.

The scholarship is designed to support high-potential candidates who demonstrate financial need and leadership promise, ensuring that access to quality management education is not determined by circumstance alone.

Through this commitment, Mr Adigun is investing in the development of future business leaders and contributing to LBS’s mission to nurture responsible and impactful leadership across Africa.

The programme director of the MiM, Dr Marvel Ogah, expressed his appreciation for the scholarship and called for greater support for the school’s mission from the LBS community: “We are deeply grateful to Gbenga Adigun, an alumnus of the Owner-Manager Programme, for this generous investment in the future of management education. By removing financial barriers for talented young professionals, this scholarship will open doors to transformative learning experiences and help develop leaders equipped to make a meaningful impact in society.

We hope this commitment inspires more members of the LBS community to support future generations through scholarships, mentorship, and other opportunities for growth

Commenting on the initiative, Mr Adigun talked about the value of quality education and the importance of paying it forward: “Education has been one of the great multipliers in my own life. It has expanded not only what I know, but what I believe is possible.

The Gbenga Adigun Scholarship is my way of ensuring that for a deserving person, financial circumstance does not become the boundary of their ambition. If education can change the trajectory of one individual, that individual can change the trajectory of a family, a business, a community and, ultimately, a country. That is the kind of return on investment that cannot be measured only in naira.”
