Held on Wednesday, 25 March 2026, at the Federal Palace Hotel & Casino, the ceremony brought together a distinguished audience of alumni, corporate leaders, faculty, and partners to honour Professor Albert Alos, Founding Dean and former Vice-Chancellor of Pan-Atlantic University. His visionary leadership laid the enduring foundation upon which Lagos Business School continues to thrive.

His gracious attendance, full of warmth and vitality, created a powerful atmosphere of legacy, continuity, and inspiration. Guided by the theme, “Legacy, Leadership and the Frontier of Strategic Management,” the event seamlessly blended reflection with forward-looking ambition.
The Dean, Professor Olayinka David-West, delivered the Welcome Address, setting the tone for an evening anchored in purpose and progress. This was followed by a moving tribute titled “Legacy Tribute – Architect of Excellence,” celebrating Professor Alos’s enduring contributions.

A key intellectual highlight of the evening was the keynote address, “The Strategic Imperative: Advancing Strategic Thought Leadership for Africa,” delivered by Professor Fabian Ajogwu, SAN, OFR, Senior Partner at Kenna Partners.
In a deeply reflective session, he spoke passionately about Professor Alos’ influence, describing it as foundational to the evolution of strategic thinking and institutional excellence at Lagos Business School and beyond.
