OWOLABI AkintolaDr. Owolabi teaches, undertakes research and consults in areas which include financial modeling, corporate financial accounting, strategic cost management, taxation and environmental accounting.
Having studied electronic/electrical engineering at Obafemi Awolowo University where he graduated with first-class honours, he obtained an MBA, as well as MPhil and PhD degrees in Management and Accounting. He had his professional accountancy training with PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Prior to joining LBS, he was a senior lecturer in accounting at the University of Ilorin.
OJIABO ChiemekaMr. Ojiabo is a Chartered Accountant with several years' auditing, consulting and investment banking experience before joining the LBS in 1993. He has an MBA from IESE Business School, Barcelona, specialising in business and financial reporting & analysis, and strategic cost management.
He attended the International Teachers Programme (ITP) at Leonard N. Stern School of Business, New York University (NYU), New York. He recently completed academic research visits both to The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, and Stern School, NYU, which included a research stint at Pryor, Counts & Co., Inc. (Investment Bankers), Philadelphia.
His academic interests remain his areas of specialisation, and he brings into them his knowledge of the Nigerian environment, gained through research, case development and consultancy, as well as European and North American perspectives.
