Dr Bongo Adi is a CIPRA Fellow at LBS, where he facilitates classes on PPPs, project finance and development. He holds an MA and PhD in Development Economics from the University of Tsukuba, Japan. He has over 15 years of experience in teaching, policy research, and consulting. He undertook postdoctoral training with the Data Mining Team of the National Agricultural Research Centre, Tsukuba, Japan where he developed routines for forecasting rice yields from paddies using remote sensing data from the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). As an assistant professor, he has lectured at the University of Tsukuba, Japan where he was JSPS Fellow, and at the American University of Nigeria. He has received several international awards including the Japan Society for the promotion of Science (JSPS) award. He has consulted for the World Bank, UNCTAD, JIRCAS, JICA, and UNU. He is widely published and his current research interests include electricity market design, private public partnerships, and political economy of mega projects. He is a UNU Fellow and a World Bank Scholar.
Nkemdilim Iheanachor is a CIPRA Fellow as well as a PhD candidate here at LBS, and is currently researching the factors that result in superior performance of firms, industries, regions, and nations with special emphasis on emerging markets. He has previous banking experience with Zenith Bank Plc, as well as consulting and advisory experience at KPMG and AfriCapital Group. He obtained a B.Eng in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from Nnamdi Azikiwe University and an MBA from Lagos Business School.
Chukwuma Dim is a Research Assistant at CIPRA. He holds a BSc in Economics from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka and has published various research papers in reputable journals. He is interested in Development Economics, with a strong emphasis toward poverty and infrastructure issues.
