Chinonye Nwosu is graduate of Applied Microbiology and Brewing from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Anambra state with a second class upper division. She is also a wife and mother of two.
Nonye as she is fondly and commonly called is an ardent advocate of "treating people right especially in the home and workplace". During her undergraduate days, she was the vice president of the student union government (SUG) of her school where she held programs to sensitize students on the need to disassociate themselves from any form of violence especially during the state and federal elections. She fought for a more transparent system especially as regards exams and results processing in the various departments. Her dogged nature in carrying out her responsibilities got her invites from different leadership trainings and seminars across the country such as the AFL program, sponsored by the then President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo. She was also the first VPN to commemorate world's Aids day in her university with the strong support of the then Vice Chancellor Prof. Ilochi Okafor and sponsorship from various companies and individuals.
Her internship days saw her at Nigerian Breweries Plc, Enugu where she worked in many capacities from the brew house to the Lab as the lab assistant where her daily reports were very important to the activities of the Department in general.
Nonye's work experience covers the education sector and banking industry where she has been working for a couple of years.
She loves academic work as well as being with and teaching children. She enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and baking with her kids. Playing lawn tennis and swimming are some other interests of hers too.
She is currently on her PGDE program from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).
She volunteered for Lagos Business School while on her vacation and has loved every bit of the time spent there.
