Modular MBA Admissions

Admission Requirements

To be considered for the Modular MBA admission, you will have to meet all the following requirements:


  • Five credit passes including English and Mathematics at the Ordinary Level for Anglophone applicants.


  • A minimum of a second-class lower degree from a university or a post-graduate diploma (PGD) from a recognised university for candidates with third-class degrees or Higher National Diplomas.


  • A minimum of three year’s post-qualification work experience


  • A satisfactory performance at the Essential Skills Assessment or NMAT or the GMAT or the GRE. Candidates are to write only one of the above tests.

    Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we advise candidates to write the Essential Skills Assessment, ESA, by GMAC. The ESA is a ” no-preparation” 50-minute exam designed to test readiness for a graduate management education program. The
    assessment is delivered online through ProctorU in a secure, proctored environment. There is special pricing of $55 only for Lagos Business School applicants as a limited period offer. The standard price of the ESA test for all candidates applying to b schools in other parts of the world is 129 USD.     NMAT cost is $75, GMAT $250 and the GRE $205

  • A demonstrated intellectual capacity, professionalism, maturity and effective decision-making and problem-solving potentials assessed during an interview

Required Documents and Fees

The required supporting documents and fees are as follows:

  • Supporting Documents

    • A completed online application form.
    • Three reference forms to be completed within the online application by your referees.
    • Copies of O’Level and university degree certificates (statements of results are acceptable).
    • Official Transcripts sent after you have been admitted (these may be sent directly by your former school).
    • Curriculum Vitae.
    • A copy of the NYSC Certificate or Letter of Exemption for Nigerians only is required.
    • English language proficiency test (TOEFL or IELTS) for non-native English speakers is strongly advised.
    • A passport photograph.
  • Fees and Living Expenses

    The tuition for the current year is N3,600,000 per session and we run two sessions. Fees cover tuition and course materials and can be paid in eight instalments at the beginning of each semester. The tuition are subject to change.

    International Students – Tuition for international students for the current year is N3,600,000 per session and we run two sessions. Lagos Business School offers a minimum of 10% tuition scholarships to international students.

Scholarships
  • Lagos Business School awards automatic partial scholarships every year to outstanding international students on the Modular MBA programme.

  • The scholarships cover the tuition for the Modular MBA programme. If awarded, you will be responsible for other personal expenses including housing and feeding.

  • To qualify, you must have applied and given admission into the MMBA programme.
