The Modular Executive MBA programme of Lagos Business School is an intensive programme designed for busy professionals looking for quality management education that combines flexibility with a strong academic background.
We recognise that today’s employers need managers with a broad range of skills that an MBA provides, and so our general management perspective ensures adequate preparation for your successful transition to higher levels of responsibility.
We have made our training more accessible to professionals in and outside Nigeria, so you can stay on your job while earning your MBA degree. The blended structure – online and on-campus of the Modular Executive MBA programme allows participants to come to LBS campus for a one-week intensive class every two months.
This programme also offers additional benefits of enhancing understanding of business through a unique blend of consulting projects done locally, and an international module offered by our institutional partners in Asia, Europe and the Americas. Modern workplace skills are developed and new knowledge is acquired to meet current and future organisational needs.
Our aim is to create an environment where participants can learn how to handle difficult real-life problems by probing, discussing and working together as a team towards achieving a deeper insight than they can ever do on their own. The MEMBA amplifies individual strengths and builds synergies between team members. You learn how to exercise judgment, make better decisions and take responsibility. In doing this, you also discover how to communicate effectively in class and at work, and leverage on all the excellent ideas you get on the programme. The MEMBA is best for people in full-time employment in positions that allow them apply what they learn while they complete a rigorous academic programme. The exposure is beyond work, it is a well rounded experience that gives participants a balanced view of life.
Participants are expected to bring in real life challenges faced in their organisations and
at the end of every module submit presentations on strategies to adopt and eventual
projected solutions. We also maintain contact afterwards for implementation.
