Lagos Business School’s MBA programmes ranked Tier One by CEO Magazine

Lagos Business School’s full-time MBA and Executive MBA programmes have again been classified as Tier One programmes by the CEO Magazine Global MBA rankings. According to the 2019 list published today, LBS’ Executive MBA programme has risen to the 36th position globally in the Executive MBA category.

CEO Magazine has been profiling MBA, Executive MBA and Online MBA programmes in top business schools across the globe since 2012. This year, the magazine reached out to business schools across North America, Europe, Australia, and received data from 144 schools, offering 292 different programmes in 25 countries.

Ranked based on criteria such as quality of faculty, accreditation, international diversity and exposure, professional development, gender parity, among others, LBS’ Executive MBA moved from the 70th position held in 2018 to the 36th position this year.

Director of MBA programmes at LBS, Dr Uchenna Uzo said, “I am especially delighted with the recognition our MBA programmes have received on the CEO Magazine list for the second year in a row. This serves as not only a testament but a reminder of the quality of management education we offer at LBS”.

Uzo added, “The ranking proves that we are doing something right with our highly engaging programmes and provides another opportunity to restate our commitment to transforming business practice in Africa”.

The latest achievement comes on the heels of The Economist magazine’s 2018 Executive MBA ranking that named the LBS EMBA as one of the top 50 in the world.

Appearing on the reputable list for the second consecutive year, LBS remains the only institution in Africa to be featured by CEO Magazine. Other top global business schools also featured in the 2019 ranking alongside LBS are Harvard Business School, University of California, Berkeley, and IE Business School.

Lagos Business School has also been ranked for 12 consecutive years among the top business schools in open enrolment executive education and for three years in the custom executive education by the Financial Times, London.
