Lagos Business School announces seven new faculty additions

Lagos Business School (LBS) has welcomed seven new members to its highly qualified pool of faculty.

The new faculty are experts in industry and academic areas such as Marketing, Human Resources and Organisational Behaviour, Strategy and International Business, Family Business Management among others.

With two on full-time contracts and five part-time, the new faculty will lead sessions on LBS’ MBA and Executive Education programmes, while also engaging with participants through mentorship.

Dr Arinze Nwokolo (Full-time)

Arinze joins LBS from Oxford University where he took part in the Centre for the Study of African Economies (CSAE) Fellowship. He was also a Research Associate at the Navarra International Development Centre, Spain and his research areas include development and organisational economics.

Nkemdilim Iheanachor (Full-time)

Previously a researcher in LBS’ Sustainable and Inclusive Digital Financial Services Initiative (SIDFS), Nkemdilim returns to the School upon completing a course on Microeconomics of Competitiveness in Harvard Business School, USA. His expertise is in research and consultation in areas such as competitive strategy, corporate strategy, blue ocean strategy, balanced scorecard development and deployment and international business. He will be leading sessions in Strategy across all LBS programmes.

Dr Okey Nwuke (Part-time)

Okey joins LBS as coordinator of the Family Business module stemming from his dissertation for the award of Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Leadership at the Walden University, Minnesota, USA with a research focus on leadership transition challenges in family businesses. Okey has taken programmes in Harvard Business School, Boston (AMP 175), Wharton Business School, Pennsylvania (both in U.S.A), INSEAD, IMD and recently completed the Chief Executive Programme (CEP) at the Lagos Business School and IESE Barcelona, Spain.

Dr Yetunde Ekpe (Part-time)

Tunde is an accredited Executive coach and psychometric profiler who joins the Human Resources and Organisational Behaviour department at LBS. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Manchester University, a postgraduate diploma in psychology from the Open University UK, Masters in Organisational Psychology from City University London and her Doctorate with the Work and Organisational department of Aston University. She is a Chartered Psychologist and Associate Fellow registered with the British Psychological Society and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

Vanessa Burgal (Part-time)

Vanessa joins the Marketing department at LBS coming from 20 years of experience in Europe, Africa and South-America as a Marketing consultant. She earned her Bachelor’s degree and MBA from ESADE Business School in Barcelona, Spain; and the CEMS Master from HEC Business School in Paris, France.

Chidi Okoro (Part-time)

The former Managing Director and member of Board of Directors of GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Nigeria Plc will lecture in Sales and Business Development at LBS. He obtained a Senior Management Programme (SMP) certificate from Lagos Business School and also an Executive Master’s Degree in Positive Leadership and Strategy from IE Business School, Madrid, Spain

Isaac Orolugbagbe (Part-time)

Isaac joins LBS as a faculty in Strategy and Entrepreneurship. With a Masters’ degree in Business Leadership from University of South Africa, Isaac is proficient in business strategy, innovation and corporate governance. He is also an adjunct faculty in Business Strategy & Corporate Governance at Strathmore Business School, Nairobi, Kenya. He is a chartered accountant and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (FCA). He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Directors and Fellow of the Society for Corporate Governance Nigeria.
