Lagos Business School alumnus appointed as Managing Director of Nosak Distilleries

Lagos Business School alumnus, Osaro Omogiade of the Owner-Manager Programme (OMP 10) and the Senior Management Programme (SMP 35) classes has been appointed as the Managing Director of Nosak Distilleries.

Nosak Distilleries is the largest manufacturer of ethanol and other industrial chemicals in Nigeria. It currently controls more than 65 per cent of the domestic supply market. The appointment was recently announced by Nosak Group, the parent company of the distillery.

Omogiade joined the distillery in 2001 as a Production Officer; prior to his recent appointment, he held the position of General Manager where he directed the affairs of the company’s growth strategies and action-implementation. In his new role as Managing Director, Omogiade will continue to oversee the strategic growth of the distillery with a focus on continual improvement of production, services and customer service excellence.

Between 2001 and now, Omogiade has served in the capacity of Project and Business Development Manager in the Ghana branch of the distillery and has also served as Assistant General Manager.

Omogiade holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and Masters in Process Engineering from the University of Lagos. He is also an alumnus of Business School Netherlands, Nigeria (BSNN).
