Ogechi Evan Obiorah is a graduate of Law from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. She was called to the Nigerian bar in the year ​2006, and completed her LLM in Information Technology and Telecommunications Law from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow in 2011.

Her work experience as a Lawyer spans several roles including a Senior Associate, Legal Counsel/Solicitor, and Assistant Legal Officer. She also has some work experience as a Policy and Research officer (Volunteer) as well as a Customer Service Advisor in Barclays Bank.

Her professional and other affiliations include the Nigerian Bar Association, Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, Internet Society (ISOC), Diplo Foundation’s Internet Governance Capcity Building Programme (IGCBP 09) and Global Community Champion for Women’s Economic Empowerment at UN Women Knowledge Gateway 2014.

She aspires to attain greater heights in her profession and in the corporate industry.​ ​
