- Biography
Oreva Atanya is a sustainability practitioner, researcher, and project manager. She earned her MSc in Management from the University of Bradford, School of Management in the UK and a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Benin, Nigeria. Following her passion for sustainability, Oreva published a book titled the Triple Bottom Line of Corporate Sustainable Development in 2014. She also pioneered ‘Sustainable Development Africa’ an online platform dedicated to creating awareness about sustainable development issues and solutions in and for Africa. Her research interests include sustainability in the oil and gas indusrty, sustainability reporting, social entrepreneurship in emerging markets and stakeholder engagement. Oreva has experience as a project management and social media strategist at African Broadcasting Network and volunteered at the World Mission Agency while studying in the UK. She was the PRME Project Advisor and is currently the Sustainability Officer at Lagos Business School’s Sustainability Centre.
