Dr. Edwin Agwu is a Faculty and an Associate Professor of Strategic Management at Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University.

 

His teaching interest is in Strategic Management. Edwin is an active researcher with more than sixty (60) publications and numerous citations in several international journals and conference proceedings. Edwin has also published extensively on very diverse research topics related to the domains of business strategy, sustainability, marketing, Human Resource, general management, SMEs as social agents in the society and the adoption of technologies in financial services industries.

Edwin is an accomplished banker with more than ten years banking and finance experience. His banking experience spans domestic and international banking operations, branch management, inspection and internal control in three notable Nigerian banks which are Universal Trust Bank Plc., Manny Bank Plc., and Diamond Bank. Edwin is also a full-fledged management/training consultant and an accomplished business manager. He was formerly the Director of Quality Assurance and Academic Standards at Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria and a member of the university senate.

Dr. Agwu attended the Federal College of Education, Okene, where he bagged the Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE) specializing in Science/Education. He attended the University of Lagos for his BSc (Hons) also in Science/Education. He also attended Adekunle Ajasin University, Ondo State, where he bagged MBA in General Management. He proceeded to the United Kingdom where he attended Staffordshire University, West Midlands and bagged MSc in International Strategic Management and PhD in Strategic Management from University of Wales, Cardiff, also in the United Kingdom. He is also affiliated to various international and national professional bodies such as the British Academic of Management, United Kingdom; Chartered Management Institute, United Kingdom; Institute for Learning, United Kingdom and Nigerian Institute of Management.
