Dr Ernest Ndukwe is the CIPRA centre Director. His area of teaching of teaching engagement is in strategic leadership with specific research interest in the character traits of CEOs that lead to business failures a professional telecommunications engineer, corporate executive and public servant with over 35 years of international experience in the telecommunications industry and in corporate executive management, majority of which have been in top management position in private multi-national companies and in government.

Dr Enase Okonedo is currently the Dean of Lagos Business School (LBS), and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA).  She has an MBA from IESE Business School, Barcelona and a Doctorate in Business Administration from International School of Management (ISM), Paris. She has extensive consulting experience notably on business restructuring, financial institutions and financial strategy. She has conducted research in the areas of credit management in Nigerian companies; treasury management in Nigerian companies; decision making among Nigerian CEO's and investor behaviour in the Nigerian stock market.

Mustapha Chike-Obi is the Managing Director/CEO for Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON). He was previously founder and managing partner of Madison Park Advisors, a financial service advisory and consulting firm in New Jersey, U.S.A, specializing in hedge fund and private equity investment advice. He has held several senior positions on Wall Street investment banks including Goldman Sachs and Guggenheim Partners. He graduated from University of Lagos with a First class degree in Mathematics and an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Akinwale Goodluck is the Corporate Services Executive at MTN Nigeria. Before joining MTN, he had worked at Nigeria’s pioneer investment bank, NAL Merchant Bank where he acquired considerable expertise in legal advisory services, corporate finance and financial services. Thereafter, he joined the services of The Law Union, a firm of barristers and solicitors, with primary responsibility for the Corporate and Commercial Law Group of the firm. He is an acknowledged resource on issues pertaining to the legal and regulatory framework of the oil and gas, telecommunications and banking & financial services sectors. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in law from Lagos State University, and went on to complete his studies at the Nigerian Law School. He has attended several courses in telecommunications and corporate finance among others as well as the Executive Development Program of the Chicago School of Business.

Funke Opeke is an experienced telecommunications executive who founded Main Street Technologies. Opeke returned to Nigeria in 2005 as the Chief Technical Officer of MTN Nigeria Communications (MTN) after a twenty-year career in the United States, where she was an Executive Director at Verizon. Ms Opeke also advised Transcorp on the acquisition of NITEL, where she served as interim Chief Operating Officer. She obtained her first degree in Electrical Engineering from Obafrmi Awolowo University and a Masters in the same subject from Columbia University, USA.

Patrick Mgbenwelu is the Director and Head of Project and Structured Finance at FBN Capital. He previously a Director at  Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc and has over 20 years of banking experience, with a primary focus on financial advisory, structuring, debt arranging/lending and closing of PPP/project finance transactions in the United Kingdom, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, U.A.E, other GCC countries, and most recently in Nigeria.  He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (London). He obtained an MSc Finance & Investment from Middlesex University Business School London and an MBA from South Bank University, London.

Engr. Mansur Ahmed is a Non-Executive Director on the Union Bank board. He holds a first degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nottingham University and a Masters degree in Industrial Engineering and Administration from Cranfield University. He also holds a postgraduate certificate in Investment Appraisal and Management of the Harvard Institute of International Development. He has been Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Ahmadu Bello University, and has worked in the Manufacturing industry in companies such as Dunlop Nigeria Industries Limited, Bgauda and Kaduna Textiles Limited. He is currently the Director General of the Nigeria Economic Summit Group (NESG).

Bernadine Okeke is currently the Global Head, Private Banking at First Bank. Before joining First bank, she had amassed a wealth of banking experience, having worked at the Bank of New England, USA and Savannah Bank, Nigerian-American Merchant Bank, and Victory Merchant Bank here in Nigeria.

Dr Sam Amadi was inaugurated by President Goodluck Jonathan on the 22nd of December, 2010 alongside six other commissioners (drawn from six geo-political zones of the country), after which he resumed office as Executive Chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC). Dr. Amadi is a lawyer and an established expert in the area of high level regional and international strategic and policy initiatives in a wide array of institutions both governmental and non-governmental. A 1992 Law graduate of the University of Calabar, he acquired a Ph.D and  LL.M in 2004 and 2001 respectively from the prestigious Harvard Law  School, Cambridge - Massachusetts. He also holds an M.P.A from the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard.

Prof. Michael Faborode is a Professor of Agricultural Engineering, Registered Professional Engineer, and former Vice President, Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) is the incumbent Secretary-General of the Association of Vice Chancellors of Nigerian Universities/Committee of Vice Chancellors (AVCNU/CVC). He is also the serving President of the West African Society for Agricultural Engineering (WASAE). A Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and Nigerian Institution of Agricultural Engineers (NIAE), Prof Faborode received his B.Sc and M.Sc degrees at the University of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and his Ph.D at the University of Newcastle upon Type, United Kingdom.


prof passport_0001.jpgProf. Frank Okafor is a professor of Power and Control Engineering at the department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, University of Lagos from where he had earlier earned a PhD in 1993. He has been a research fellow at the Technical University of Dresden as a guest of the German Research Foundation (DFG), and a visiting professor at the Institute of Electrical Power and High Voltage Engineering, Technical University of Dresden. He was also Project Manager (System Studies) for the National Integrated Power Project (NIPP) where he coordinated the Integration and Evacuation studies for the new generating plants, and served as member of the presidential advisory team on Power Sector Reform.


 

Alhaji Lamis Dikko is currently the Chairman of The Infrastructure Bank Plc. Board. He previously served managerial positions at Habib Bank Nigeria Limited, and then Unity Bank Plc, where he was Executive Director, Central Region. Alhaji Dikko attained his first degree in Economics from Ahmadu Bello University, and the Queen Mary College, University of London. He is also an alumnus of the Harvard Business School Leadership Programme.


Prof. Osita Ogbu  was recently Economic Adviser to the President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Planning Commission. He has been Executive Director of The African Technology Policy Studies Network, Nairobi and serves as a Director of Integrated Microfinance Bank (MFB) Plc. He is an economist with broad range of skills and practical understanding of developmental and social issues. Dr. Ogbu is a prolific Writer and the Author of The Moon Also Sets. Dr. Ogbu attended the University of Nigeria Nsukka where he obtained a B.Sc Degree in Economics. He later obtained an MA and Ph.D. in Economics from Howard University, USA.
