CSR Masterclass

Overview
Corporate social responsibility, as responsible business practice, has taken a global centre stage and businesses are being challenged to take it seriously. Practitioners' and academic surveys of business leaders of global firms often conclude that these firms recognise the need to embed responsible business practices in their strategies, yet they struggle to figure out how to do this.

In addition to the business demands, CSR has also emerged as a nouveau professional career path. However, there is a dearth of professional training programmes for individuals interested in CSR.

This masterclass is a general CSR programme for practitioners keen to build a robust set of competences in CSR across sectors and functions. It will explore responsible business practices in such traditional business areas as: human resources and organisational development, marketing and advertising, accounting and finance, health and safety, strategy and corporate governance, amongst others. It will draw examples from big and small firms as well as across sectors.
