| LBS offers a wide spectrum of
open and in-company seminars during the year on issues of importance
to business people and managers in governmental and non-governmental
organizations. Yearly, over 2,000 participants from multinational
and indigenous companies participate in these LBS programmes.
Open Seminars
Normally between 1 - 4 days in duration.
LBS Seminars address issues of importance to business people
and managers along with areas of focused training on topics
of a technical nature.
Function Specific Programmes (FSPs)
FSPs offer a leading edge, cohesive and integrated programmes,
presented before a backdrop of experience from the faculty
and participants themselves on issues related to a specific
function in the organisation. Some FSPs are geared more to
professionals working at the functional areas concerned. But
all are by nature open to senior managers and business people
who want to optimise their personal performance in the functional
area, or those whose job or organisation closely relates to
the function. FSPs feature a schedule normally of one full
week, making them easily accessible also to participants coming
from outside Lagos.
AWARD OF CERTIFICATES
At the end of the programmes, participants will be given one
of the following;
Letter of attendance shall be written to employers of the
participants who are not LBS credit customers and also were
not able to make payments for the course attended by the end
of the programme. This letter shall be replaced with a fully
endorsed certificate of participation on payment of course
fee within 40 days from the completion date of the programme.
Certificate of Participation shall be awarded to all LBS
credit and cash customers - those paying cash before the end
of the programme.
REGISTRATION, CANCELLATION AND FEES
Registration
Registration is by writing or filling relevant forms indicating
the name(s) of your nominee(s).
However, bookings can be made by phone to the Marketing Department.
However, bookings cannot be considered confirmed till payment
is made either by cheque (addressed to LBS) or by cash paid
at our office.
The School reserves the right to close registration before
the start of an activity in order to maintain effective numbers.
Cancellations
Cancellations received in advance of 3 working days before
an activity will be refunded in full. After this, no refunds
will be made.
Fees
Fees stated include course materials, lunch and coffee and
VAT.
Discounts
The LBS discounts applicable during the year are:
1. Active Alumni Discount:
20% is applicable to all active alumni - i.e. Managers who
have previously completed an executive programme at LBS and
are registered as Alumni of the school.
2. Associate Companies discount:
10% discount is applicable to associate companies.
3. Quantity Discount:
Five and above nominees from a company attract 15% discount,
while 3 to 4 nominees attract 10% discount.
4. Advance Booking:
10% discount is applicable to nominees who confirm their bookings
at least one week ahead of the scheduled programme.
Please note that the discounts
are mutually exclusive (only one discount factor is applicable
at a time).
