Lagos Business School is the graduate business school of Pan-Atlantic University (formerly Pan-African University). Other units in the University are the School of Media and Communications (SMC) and the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC).
Before the University was established, LBS benefited immensely from the help of IESE Business School in Barcelona, Spain, and continues to do so today. IESE is one of the leading business schools in the world and has generously provided constant support to LBS in all the areas of our activity. IESE professors visit regularly to teach in LBS programmes and to participate in the annual meetings of the Joint IESE-LBS Committee. IESE also provides academic training for LBS lecturers and hosts every year, two programmes in Barcelona for LBS participants.
LBS has also benefited greatly from its participation in, and help from, the Global Business Schools Network (GBSN). The School is a founding member and active participant in the Association of African Business Schools (AABS). LBS is also a member of the
Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and
Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME). Other associations LBS belongs to include the
Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM), the
European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), the
Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) and the
Convention on Business Integrity (CBI).
In addition, LBS has a growing list of business school partners with whom student and faculty exchanges are regularly organised, as well as collaborations on programmes and research undertaken.
