Dr Malcolm Fabiyi is a visiting professor at Lagos Business School where he teaches courses in marketing strategy, marketing management and research methods. He holds a first-class degree from the University of Lagos Nigeria, a PhD from the University of Cambridge England, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School Of Business.
 
Dr Fabiyi worked as a consultant with McKinsey & Company developing business strategies for companies across the African continent. He has also had an extensive career in industry, working in the areas of innovation and product development. He led product development efforts at a number of US corporations including a major Fortune 100 company. He is the Managing Partner of Claypol Consult, a consulting company focused on market research, business strategy & public policy analysis.

His research and business interests are focused on strategic market analyses, industry studies, new product development, value creation, utility and decision making, innovation and strategy.  He has published numerous papers in his fields of interest and holds several US patents. He is a Fellow of the Cambridge Commonwealth Trust.
