OGBECHIE Rose
Her interest in ethics and moral formation dates back over 15 years. She has set up three different societies to work with girls and young women in issues of morals, family life, as well as social and community work. Her earlier career in banking also exposed her to the rigours of the Nigerian banking business environment, and running a small business gave her the opportunity to see the many ethical dilemmas which organisations face.
Rose consults in the broad areas of business ethics for NGOs mainly. Her research interests are in the areas of impact of corruption on development, decent business behaviour and corporate reputation, impact of gratification on employee effectiveness and how to institutionalise business ethics in private and public companies.
She is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, UK and Nigeria and the British Institute of Administrative Management.
